Cookies Policy

  1. The entity that places information in the form of cookies and other similar technologies on the User's end device (e.g. computer, laptop, smartphone, smart TV) and obtains access to them is Authologic sp. z o.o. based in Warsaw (02-482), ul. Sklepowa 24, entered into the register of entrepreneurs of the National Court Register by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw. Warsaw in Warsaw, 14th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under KRS number: 0000851095, NIP: 5223186837, e-mail: iod@authologic.com, hereinafter referred to as the Data Controller and Trusted Partners, i.e. identity verifications providers.

  2. Cookies are IT data, in particular text files, which are stored on the User's end device. Cookies usually contain the domain name of the website they come from, their storage time on the end device and a unique number. Cookies are not used to identify the user and the User's identity is not established on their basis.

  3. The publisher's website may place a cookie on your browser if your browser allows it. Importantly, the browser only allows a website to access cookies placed by that website, not files placed by other websites.

  4. Each separate cookie is made up of four basic parts:

    • a) name of the website, i.e. the name of the domain or subdomain that set the cookie;
    • b) the unique name of the cookie assigned to it on the website that generates it;
    • c) cookie expiration dates - some files expire at the same time as closing the browser (these are so-called session cookies), while other files are deleted automatically when the set expiry date is reached (so-called persistent cookies);
    • d) value, that is information contained in the cookie that is used by the website to keep a register of previous visits.

  5. Cookies contain basic information about Users (such as identifiers), as well as various types of data enabling the optimization and correct presentation of content on websites. The information stored in cookies is used for purposes such as:

    • a) recognizing Users who log in to protected websites and thus gain the ability to use multiple websites without the need to enter the user name and password for each website;
    • b) creating a register of User preferences, i.e. the browsing format and content viewed, without the need to set individual preferences each time you visit a given website;
    • c) preparing a register of pages visited by users - on this basis, data is obtained that facilitates the introduction of improvements in the content visible on the pages, as well as in the way the page is navigated.

  6. Cookies are also used for the following purposes:

    • a) adapting the content of websites to the User's preferences and optimizing the use of websites; in particular, these files allow to recognize the User's device and properly display the website, tailored to his individual needs;
    • b) creating statistics that help understand how Users use websites, which allows improving their structure and content;

  7. The website uses two basic types of cookies: "session cookies" and "persistent cookies". "Session" cookies are temporary files that are stored on the User's end device until logging out, leaving the website or turning off the software (web browser). "Permanent" cookies are stored on the User's end device for a period of time specified in the cookie parameters or until they are deleted by the User.

    • d) "functional" cookies, enabling "remembering" the settings selected by the User and personalizing the User's interface, e.g. in terms of the selected language or region from which the User comes, font size, appearance of the website, etc.;
    • e) "advertising" cookies, enabling the provision of advertising content to Users more tailored to their interests

  9. When visiting the Data Controller's website, a window is displayed with a message that cookies are used on the website. If a person visiting the Data Controller's website selects the "I accept" option, it will mean that he or she has consented to all cookies on the website and confirms that he or she has read information about cookies, the purposes for which they are used, cases where information is passed on to third parties.

  10. For "strictly necessary" cookies, consent is not required as these cookies ensure the full and continuous display of the content on the website.

If a person visiting the Data Controller's website does not want their device to use cookies, they can manage cookie selections by selecting them on the list of cookies used on the website - in the footer at the bottom of the page in the "Cookie Settings" tab.   13. The recipient of information from cookies placed on the website User's end device may include, among others: Google LLC.

  14. The Data Controller may use Google Analytics and Universal Analytics services on the website provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). These services help the Data Controller keep statistics and analyze traffic on the website. The collected data is processed as part of the above services to generate statistics helpful in administering the website and analyzing traffic on the website. This data is aggregated. By using the above services on the website, the Data Controller collects data such as the sources and medium of obtaining website visitors and their behavior on the website, information about the devices and browsers from which they visit the website, IP and domain, geographical data and demographic data (age, gender) and interests.

  15.
